“Jealous,” the biggest song of the summer and Chromeo’s most played song on Spotify with nearly 20 million hits got the crowd moving in ways we had never seen before.

There were two highlights of the night: the first you might be a little jealous about and the second is going to require some shoulder exercise. My guess is that the lights pumping out the stage to “Come Alive” and the sounds blaring from Chromeo’s guitar to “Fancy Footwork” had something to do with the non stop cheering and recited lyrics. It might have been the drinks that were served at the bar or the merchandise that were sold at reasonable prices. The electric magnetic energy continued throughout the night with stellar hits such as “Somethinggood,” “Sexy Socialite,” and “Frequent Flyer.” As I looked around the diverse faces in the crowd, they all seemed to share the same expression of pure joy and excitement. Fans danced as the veteran duo started the show off with, “Night by Night,” one of their biggest hits from their previous album, “Business Casual.”

The crowd was in full effect by the time the lights went out and reappeared to the bass heavy sounds of Chromeo. Each artist gifted the crowd with a different vibe, smoothing their musical sensations for the main act.

By 8 p.m., the doors were open for all to dance around to the electric tunes of the opening acts: Doors, Wave Racer, and Mapei.
